Our approach
At Say Cheese Education, learning Dutch means:
-
fully digital learning, designed for modern workplaces
-
realistic dialogues instead of dusty textbook language
-
daily short lessons for consistency and momentum
-
shadowing as a core technique for fluency
-
a strong focus on output, instead of passive input
-
language acquisition, rather than traditional language learning
Our main goal is to help professionals use Dutch naturally and confidently at work, having their first conversations within only a few weeks time.
Language first
Most conventional language courses focus on endless grammar explanations and long lists of vocabulary. Most practice recides within the domains of reading and writing. This results in learners understanding a language on paper but freezing when they need to speak. So, at Say Cheese Education, we reverse the logic, and use a language first approach: communication before theory, speaking before rules.
Fully digital
Learning takes place in online environments that are available anytime and anywhere. Audio and video support comprehension that goes beyond static learning methods.
Real language
Realistic dialogues provide real-life language used at work and in daily situations. Vocabulary and grammar are learned in context, not isolation.
Daily practice
Language acquisition thrives on consistency. Short daily lessons provide new input and consistent practice. No overload or endless study sessions, but focused practice that fits seemlessly into any busy schedule.
Output driven
We focus on output from day one, stimulating active learning. Through shadowing, feedback and guided speaking practice, learners train their brain to produce Dutch naturally. The goal is confidence, fluency and real communication.

FEEDBACK
Through quizzes, buddy assignments, reading and writing practice and weekly live lessons, learners receive continuous feedback from multiple angles. Learning with peers plays a central role, because language is learned through active use, not passive study.
